Personal Training with Morgan Chisholm

1:1 Personal Training Session

Steph’s yoga journey began in 2013 with local classes at the Fort McMurray YMCA. After experiencing the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of her yoga practice, she decided she wanted to help guide others in their own journeys. In 2018, she began the pursuit of her goal to become a certified yoga teacher. Steph is registered as a 200-hour teacher with Yoga Alliance (RYT 200) and is working her way toward her RYT 500 designation. She has also completed the Curvy Yoga Certification with Anna Guest-Jelley. Her focus is on creating a nurturing environment which allows everyone to participate, encourages self-love and empathy, and will hopefully leave you feeling rested and charged with positive energy. She enjoys incorporating short readings into her classes to share beautiful and uplifting wisdom she has encountered in her own studies. She and her husband are both animal lovers, and she is a proud dog mom to two very spoiled Morkies. She looks forward to sharing this journey with you!

Lindsey is a registered massage therapist who graduated with honors from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy in her home town Fort McMurray in 2021. Raising a young family, she was looking for a career that would be rewarding where she could achieve that work-life balance she was looking for, took the leap to pursue massage therapy – and she couldn’t be happier with her decision.

Currently, Lindsey is thrilled to offer a variety of treatment styles including Swedish relaxation, therapeutic and deep tissue massage. She has experienced first-hand the positive effects that massage can have on the body and the mind and is looking forward to exploring that mind/body/spirit connection more through massage.

When Lindsey is not at work, she can be found outside in nature, chasing sunsets with her camera, enjoying life with her family and searching for those moments of peace or inspiration in everyday life. She is looking forward to bringing that same energy into her treatments, and is very grateful for the opportunity to grow her massage practice with the Twisted Body.

Presently, she is certified in Cupping and Hot Stone with plans to continue advancing her skills in the coming years. Heather is dedicated to working with her clients for whatever they need; whether that means just some time to relax, or helping to work out that persistent pain you just can’t reach.

Meritt started her fitness journey at a young age falling in love with multiple endurance based sports. Although she loves the thump of the pavement it left her wanting more.

Late in 2022 a friend was training to become a pilates instructor. Given Meritt’s athletic background she invited her to come to a class. Meritt was instantly in love.

Only recently completing her Pilates Mat training in Fall 2023 she is eager to see what this new career brings. She keeps classes inclusive to all levels, giving lots of modifications, progressions and challenges. She strives for her students to develop their strength from the inside out. She hopes Pilates can bring stability to your life just as it has to hers.

She encourages you to discover this practice with her and find this quote from Joseph Pilates as inspiring as she has:

“You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions and have a completely new body in thirty sessions.”
